Four Ways to Get Hot Arms by Summer
It is spring time and we need to get ready for showing off our sexy auntie arms! They're not just for holding and hugging our nieces and nephews, after all. Here are four ways to get the arms you want!
Weight Training
Exercising our biceps, deltoids, and triceps definitely give us a hot upper body look. Weight training is a great way to get the look we want. But at times, we need more help because there's a little 'extra' skin and a little 'extra' fat.
Liposuction
Liposuction helps get rid of extra fatty tissue. Tiny incisions are made by the elbow crease and at times under the armpit. Fat is removed, external compression is applied and with time the skin reshapes and contracts. Early on, there is some bruising, swelling, and discomfort.
Mini- Brachioplasty
Individuals with some excess sagging skin may be candidates for a mini-brachioplasty. An incision is made in the axilla (armpit) removing a small to moderate amount of skin, lifting and tightening the arm. This is frequently performed with liposuction. The final scar is concealed in the armpit, often removing all the hair baring skin.
Full Brachioplasty
For more severe arm ptosis, a full brachioplasty is necessary to remove all the redundant skin and fat. These scars are longer from the axilla to the elbow, taking longer to heal and fade. With the arms down by your side the scars should be hidden. This procedure is usually performed under general anesthesia.
